Touhou 13.5 “Hopeless Masquerade” – More Playable Characters Revealed *UPDATE

Earlier this weekend, Tasogare Frontier updated the official website to 「Touhou Shinkirou ~ Hopeless Masquerade」 (TH13.5) to reveal more playable characters for their upcoming 2D doujin fighter. These include Byakuren Hijiri, Mononobe no Futo, Toyosatomimi no Miko, Nitori Kawashiro, and Koishi Komeiji.

During the ArcRevo tournament that took place this weekend in Japan, Arc System Works announced a new Guilty Gear fighting game, entitled 「Guilty Gear Xrd -SIGN-」. A debut trailer was also unveiled to the public. It is available for view after the cut.

According to the obi strip found on the second volume of the 「BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger」 light novel series, an anime adaptation has been green-lit for production. Further details regarding the new project will be made at a later date.

According to the July issue of Afternoon magazine, an anime adaptation of Nihei Tsutomu’s sci-fi adventure manga series, 「Sidonia no Kishi」 (Knights of Sidonia), has been green-lit for production. There is no word on the exact format — whether TV, OVA, or film — available at this time.
Touhou 14 – “Double Dealing Character” Announced

Earlier this weekend, the 14th official game in the Touhou doujin series, entitled 「Touhou Kishinjou ~ Double Dealing Character」, was announced by developer ZUN. As usual, a demo will be released at the next Reitaisai event, (May 26th) — priced at 300 JPY. Reimu, Marisa, and Sakuya (surprisingly) are all confirmed to be playable. No word on when the full version will be available.

According to Comic Natalie, Terajima Yuuji’s baseball manga series, 「Ace of Diamond」, will be receiving a TV anime adaptation this Fall. It is a co-production between Madhouse and Production I.G. The official website and Twitter account for the new project is now available.

According to a website entry from publisher Kadokawa Shoten, an anime adaptation of Segawa Hajime’s sci-fi action manga series, 「Tokyo ESP」, has been green-lit for production. There is no word on the exact format — whether TV, film, or OVA — at this time.

According to the June issue of Newtype magazine, a second TV season of 「Chuunibyou demo Koi ga Shitai!」 has been green-lit for production. The announcement was made on a pull-out poster found inside featuring the first key visuals of the series.
fripSide – “sister’s noise” PV

The Japanese trance/pop music duo fripSide have just released their latest single, “sister’s noise,” earlier this week. The song is also known as the opening theme for the anime, 「Toaru Kagaku no Railgun S」. The official promotional video may be found after the cut.
