At first, I wasn’t sure whether or not I would report this (considering I first heard the news on April Fool’s Day )… but after seeing confirmation from other reliable sources, it’s safe to say that yes… there will be a (tentatively titled) “Demashitaa! Powerpuff Girls Z” anime coming out soon. Seems that good old Toei, Aniplex, and Cartoon Network have agreed to be part of a joint venture in releasing the project. The news was first made public at Tokyo Animation Fair. Down below you’ll find two image shots from the series, an actual clip (though it was shot using a camcorder.
