Hellsing Season 2: OVA?

AoD reports coming in detail on what seems to be a possible sequel to the Hellsing anime. At the MipTV tradeshow in France, Geneon Entertainment (USA) revealed the news of the soon-to-be OVA series. What’s confirmed so far is that each episode will run 35 minutes and will be based on the actual manga. However, no specific number of episodes have been announced at this time.

In my opinion, it’s no surprise seeing that Hellsing season 2 would be released in an OVA format, seeing as to how much more intense the content (e.g. Nazi references) appears in later chapters of the manga.
