Hi! This is my first post on Moetron ^_^ I’m the blog’s newest staff member, AnimeDreamer36. Just so you guys know, I’m in charge of posting local, US anime news, specifically news that relates to anime currently being shown on American TV, as well as info on the newest and upcoming US anime DVDs, manga, games, etc. I also run my own anime web site, Anime Yume, which I’ve been working on for a little over 3 years now. Well, I guess that’s enough for a self-introduction^^,,, Onto the news…
// anime TV sector
- 4KidsTV is currently airing the last 7 episodes of Shaman King every Saturday morning at 11:00am. But unfortunately, as is typical with the Fox 11 station, they sometimes cut off part of their block of cartoons early(at 10:30am or 11:00am instead of 12:00pm) in order to show Fox Sports. So even though they say they’re airing the last few episodes of Shaman King, some of the episodes may be skipped. But hopefully we’ll at least be able to see most of them ~_^
- The 2nd Digimon movie: Revenge of Diabormon(the 4th movie in Japan) is supposedly going to (finally) be dubbed and will air on Toon Disney on August 5th at 7:00pm and then on ABC Family Jetix the following day at 9:00am.

- Also(this isn’t really news but I thought it was kind of interesting) Adult Swim, for the first time in years, aired the Inuyasha opening song(the 4th one, “Grip!”) at the beginning of last Saturday’s episode(episode 108.) I just thought it was kind of shocking since they’ve never aired any Inuyasha opening songs since the show’s first few weeks on broadcast. Well, now they’ve got the line-up perfect: opening song, first half of episode, commercials, second half of episode, ending song, and next-episode preview. Let’s hope it stays this way! =)

- Well, like many other anime fans, I attended Anime Expo a couple weeks ago. I found out a lot of interesting info about VIZ Media’s upcoming anime releases at the VIZ Media Anime Panel there. I was pleased with a lot of the releases, like the Saikano OVA, one of Rumiko Takahashi’s older series’ Maison Ikkoku, the live-action Japanese movie Kamikaze Girls, Zatch Bell on DVD(not uncut yet, but the uncut DVDs might eventually be released depending on how well sales of the edited version turn out), and not just the 3rd Inuyasha movie, but the rights to all of the Inuyasha music CDs as well! ^_^ They explained that since VIZ had recently merged with the Japanese company ShoPro, their connections with the Japanese market and products is much greater. But probably the most interesting bit of news was that, along with their release of the 3rd Inuyasha movie in September, they’re going to have a sort of Inuyasha tour bus that will travel to 15 different Wal-Marts across the country and allow people to watch the movie in a theater room on the bus. Wow, that’s pretty new huh? ^^,,,

- The newest Pokemon GameCube game, entitled Pokemon XD: Gale of Darkness is set for a US release on October 3rd of this year. The option to pre-order it will begin on August 26th and will include as a bonus, a nifty new design for your GC as seen above. More info about this game can be found at Serebii.net.
- And as a last note, the Full Metal Alchemist trading card game is going to be released in the US sometime this coming August.
