Disgaea Anime – US Broadcast?

Aw cool, that’s interesting. I don’t know if the people watching Adult Swim would like it very much, especially with the defenders of earth being almost “Team Rocket” (pokemon)-ish.

*points at “Hopefully Anime Network, Adult Swim, or Cartoon Network…” *

I’m willing to bet if anything it would go to toonami if it gets on cartoon network … I mean they can just chop out whats objectionable and slap on a more bland script…

It could happen. Disgaea has been somewhat popular in the US.

Considering how much they’d chop it up, I wouldn’t watch the broadcasted dub. I doubt the Toonami people would either. Ah, yes, I agree it would be most likely to go there…Now, DVDs I’d buy of course.

Hopefuly it comes soon, and I agree, I don’t think it would be to well-precieved on adult swim. I already know a lot of people who think the anime is childish. >

Sad to say that it’s true that too many Americans see cartoons and think “kid’s show” and the like. Too bad that too many people think this way. There’s a lot of great anime that is very well done that is NOT “kid’s stuff” and is not porn (another too common belief is that anime is all porn too)
