The Second Rozen Maiden Doll… and oh how this figurine perfectly accentuates the cuteness, not to mention eccentric characteristics, that is associated with her personality.

Kanaria stands at about 4 inches tall and comes with an assortment of accessories, including a parasol, metal curved rod, detachable hair extensions, and base. The metal rod is used to connect her feet to the base and give off the appearance of her floating in mid-air, very cute. My one major complaint would have to be the tiny hair extensions that you’ll need to connect to her temples. Reason why is because they come off so easily, resulting in hours of frustration just attaching and re-attaching those damn plastic addons. And yes, I did happen to lose one while taking these snapshots of her. Finally found it near a stack of magazines I had lying on the floor, (my room is a real mess). Took me almost a half hour just to find it. Why couldn’t her prototype model just have the extensions fixated on? Makes no sense at all. But other than the obvious hair issue, I must say that this is one of the most beautifully designed figures I have in my collection. Next up in the Rozen Maiden SRDX series from Yujin is Suigintou, which I already have pre-ordered and ready to be shipped sometime in late September. Now if I could just convince myself to spend $200 on a SRDX Suiseiseki, (that’s how much she’s going for on a few online auction sites), my Rozen collection would be off to an excellent start…

By the way, there’s a neat summer-theme flash animation on Yujin’s homepage right now. Check it out if you can.
