Episode 5: “Mojo’s Revenge, Mojo!” + “The Observatory Tower Crash!”
A day late, but I finally managed to find the time, in my extra busy schedule, to catch this latest episode. The first half, “Mojo’s Revenge, Mojo!”, mainly deals with Mojo taking revenge on an old man at a local fruitstand. He used to tease Mojo by waving fruit in his face back when he was your average zoo monkey, (yeah I’d be pissed too.) Also it was very strange seeing how Evil Mojo looked without his huge cape covering his body. Don’t think I want to see that ever again…The second half, “The Observatory Tower Crash!”, was, I have to say, the most action-packed episode yet in the series. This one gave the girls the chance to show off some new skills we haven’t seen so far. I especially enjoyed Kaoru’s spinning move near the end, (I believe it was called the “Hurricane Lutz”.) The girls ended their faceoff with Mojo, and hopefully it will be their last for awhile, with second versions of their “White Choco Shoot”, “Bubble Champagne”, and “Swing Sonic” attacks… Next week, it’s all about Fuzzy Lumpkins and Princess Himeko. Finally!

D’oh, sorry for the double post, it got only the first line for some reason.
Anyway, the animation is still quite bad (was better in ep.2?), but I don’t really mind, although this is quite making people ignore this series and it’s a shame, as it’s quite entertaining and specially overly cute.
I mean, what were they expecting? To find the meaning of life in anime? It’s entertainment after all, and it works fine for me in this case. Most of them won’t be paying a buck for it anyway…
About that, I am quite interested about purchasing the DVD releases of this series…anyone has information about it?
And, btw, I have tried a quick drawing of Kaoru in my low free time, it’s at my blog. I should repeat it anyway as I was mostly trying a different painting program…hope you like it.
I agree this is also a very cute series. Personally I think its as ood or even better than the American version even after seeing a lot of negative comments on Youtube. Also I wonder if like in the American show they will do an episode featuring the Beat Alls or something of the sort with the villains teaming up.
