[...] 37 Premieres this coming Winter season? Wow, that is quite a bunch of new anime. I always like new anime hopefully something good will come out. [...]
Oh mine, a Himawari sequel? I never finished the original, since it got a bit boring and repetitive, but it looks like I better go finish watching it.
Darnit, no Sousei No Aquarion 2 yet x_x, jeeze when are they gonna finnaly pull that out?? -sigh- ..TegaToppaGurenLaggen seems cool, i’m gonna check that one out while i wait.
Looking forward to some interesting Shoujo this winter. Looks like a good batch there.
Is that Sky Girls mention a TV adaptation of the OAV or something?
I dunno, look at this fall season. Didn’t something to the tune of 52 shows premiere? How many of them are actually worth watching? I feel like this current season a lot slower than last spring or even the summer, so many shows is no guarantee. More like… a possibility. That said, I really know nothing about what’s coming up, maybe I’ll be pleasantly surprised.
Danny: Sorry for the confusion. It’s just the “televised” premiere of the same OAV that was released earlier this year.
Inuhanyou: Unfortunately no broadcast date for “Sousei No Aquarion 2″ has been announced as of yet. I’ve checked several sources throughout but found nothing :(
You know it’ll be interesting to see whether a “Les Misérables” anime can work out or not.
I’m most looking forward to the continuations of Marimite and Rozen Maiden. I’ll probably check out Nodame Cantabile, Cossette Shoujo, and this year’s PreCure version as well.
Didn’t they announce when Polyphonica’s going to air already? Looking forward for it, same for StrikerS.
Your entry needs a correction. Galaxy Railways II has been airing for quite some time now. It’s several episodes into the story already.
Anya: You’re absolutely right. What I forgot to mention was that “Galaxy Railways II” will premiere on the 30th this month on Sky Perfect TV — on their POWER PLAT’S channel. I’ll fixed it right now.
Blue-Kun: Sorry I didn’t see your question. Anyway several sources have “Polyphonica” listed for April next year.
[...] Anyway, let's take a look at what moetron has been up to. Well, pKjd put together a nice listing of the Winter season anime for us. If you watch anime as it comes out, this post ought to prove invaluable for picking your Winter lineup. I know it reminded me of a few shows I need to keep an eye out for. (Himawari!!) Otherwise, pKjd has been busy… posting about a Rozen Maiden PS2 game and BEING FEATURED IN A FUCKING JAPANESE MAGAZINE. I must say, pKjd, you're a bastard and I'm jealous. Everyone seems to be making it onto Japanese TV and into Japanese magazines except l'il ol' me. Oh well. I'll try to remember to grab a copy next time I am at Asahiya. But don't worry, pK. I'll keep your secret identity secret. [...]
[...] My only hope is the winter season! I’m actually wondering why there is no good winter season preview except for this one. Ah, but I just found the site on Pukiwiki. Yay. [...]
[...] With the end of the Autumn Season approaching in a few weeks, it’s time to look at some potential shows to watch and possibly blog about. At this point I’ve only select a few out of the 37 (according to moetron), but this may change within the first few weeks of the new season. The Autumn Season has taught me many things in relation to anime blogging, ranging from the usual anime episode blogging, to the fiasco of not enough editorials, and even my own figure photography posts that it takes a lot of time to do such things. [...]
:)
Is there a reason you included a pic of TimeFire? Timeranger was way back in 2000.
And for that matter, why include Sentai and Kamen Rider pics at all? That’s tokusatsu, not anime.
I hope we see coverage on at least some of these shows :is excited:
I didn’t create the image above. It was taken from Futaba :D
I figured as much, but I wanted to make sure.
[...] So apparently, the anidb list that I used for the first part of the Winter 2007 Anime Preview was overly optimistic. I guess I should’ve been wary when I saw so many shows premiering on January 1st… I’ll just use Moetron’s list for the rest of my posts. [...]
[...] I blatantly stole this image from moetron, just to show you the 37 shows that are premiering this winter season. [...]
