After months of rumors/speculation floating on the internet, including this 2007 Calendar Illustration image of Ryogi Shiki from a recent issue of Newtype magazine — apparently there’s also a pin-up poster coming soon if not out already — Moonphase Diary reports of a possible “Kara no Kyoukai” anime conversion coming soon.

*UPDATE (12/27) - Animation studio ufotable will be involved in the project — which turns out to be a movie, not a TV series. New site now up. The trailer can be viewed through IE.

“Kara no Kyoukai” is a novel from prominent visual writer Kinoko Nasu and artist Takashi Takeuchi, the founders of TYPE-MOON. It was originally released in October 1998, prior to the success of PC-based eroge visual novel Tsukihime, and reprinted in 2004. You can read more about it here.
