出ましたっ!パワパフガールズZ - 33 「Runaway Momoko and Neapolitan!」/ 「Keane’s Sympathy, Mojo’s Affection!」
*all panoramic shots provided by Asirt
Ep33 Commentary:
First half: How dare the other girls treat their leader like that! Not leaving any food for her; placing a big ol’ box of love-letters on Momoko’s side of the table. Unbelievable. But on top of that, no one in the lab even recognizes her as being the leader of the group. Instead, they just see her as another teammate. From there Momoko decides to just take off on her own.
Meanwhile, at a restaurant, a girl argues with her boyfriend about the Italian dish they were just served. Kare’s black spore powder enters the scene and infects the plate of spaghetti she had in her hand. As a result, a spaghetti monster by the name of Napoletano is born. From there Napoletano continued the argument of the so-called “Italian” cuisines being served at the restaurant. He later notices the plate of Spaghetti alla Bolognese (Spaghetti Bolognese) near him — a dish made popular overseas; not in Italy, (I’m not even sure if such a dish even exist there.) But the question here is; where are the real traditional Italian cuisines one expects to find in a restaurant that serves Italian dishes — not these cheap imitations made available in most other countries; i.e. America, Japan, etc. (Sidenote: To a certain extent, there is no one primary/nationally celebrated Italian cuisine. They differ in each of the Italian regions.) From there Napoletano loses control and goes into a rage — why does this all sound so familiar.
Outside, Momoko is seen walking angrily as she reminisces over the fact that her teammates don’t recognize her as being the leader of the group. At that very moment her compact goes off and she thinks everyone is going to beg her to come back. Instead they tell her to hurry and get over to the lab pronto. Momoko then sees this as a way of them admitting how lost and confused they’ll be without the presence of their leader. Kaoru thinks she’s still being selfish again and cancels the signal altogether. Momoko decides never to return to the lab again.
Moments after, Napoletano bumps into Momoko. From there Napoletano shares his story of searching for that faraway place where he rightfully belongs. Momoko was touched by his story, as well as his bravery, and decides she too will search for that place where she belongs — together with Napoletano. Just then Bubbles and Buttercup spot Momoko and try to talk some sense to her, as well as ask why in the world she’s protecting that monster. Momoko defends her new friend, tells them once more that Red is always recognized as the leader of a team — (total sentai otaku), and after makes a run for it with Napoletano by her side.
The debut of Momoko’s image song!

After making their escape, the two find themselves at Tokyo City’s harbor where they plan to board a cruise liner. Just then Momoko turns around and admires the view of the lab from where she stood. Napoletano pushes her down the stairs, telling her that here is where she really belongs — with her nakama (partners/companions). She agrees and sees him off as he sails away. But to our surprise, an old friend, Ramen Monster, was also aboard the ship.
Second half: Mojo finally builds enough courage to ask out Keane-sensei. He prepares himself by reading and studying a dating guidebook filled with tons of advice. With a nice change of clothes, a fancy car, and plenty of dough on hand, Mojo makes it to the school where he finds Keane-sensei — as to why they had the Rowdyruff Boys’ theme music playing in the background, I don’t know. Anyway, he asks her out and she accepts — go Mojo! You lucky bastard :P
First they make it to the theaters. Keane asks for two tickets — one adult and one Monkey-san, orz. Once the two were inside and were seated, a love scene came up on the film they were watching. Mojo looks to his dating book for advice and sees that he should slowly reach around and place his arm around her shoulder. But to his surprise, Keane-sensei places both her hands over his eyes — but it was just to prevent him from seeing what was on the screen. Meanwhile, the Powerpuff Z were on the hunt for the two.
At the beach, Mojo, getting the idea from the book he had, decides to splash some water on Ms. Keane. She splashes some back. Right after she tells him to close his eyes. Could this be it? No instead Mojo receives a crab in his hand, which pinches his nose. Later that day, the two eat at some fancy restaurant. Mojo looks to his guidebook again and decides to try his hands on the piano sitting nearby. Keane-sensei then begins to sing along to his broken tune. Once again, the Powerpuff trio were close on his tail.
Using his Mojo Robo, Love-Love model, he takes a blindfolded Ms. Keane up to the top of some tower. Once there he surprises Keane-sensei with a romantic view of the city. Then Mojo presents her with a letter that reads, “I love you, - Mojo.” Keane was impressed on how he was able to write in English — not exactly the response Mojo wanted.
Once the girls made it to the scene, Keane-sensei explained to them that she was in no harm at all; and that she just spent the day playing with Mojo-san. The girls didn’t know what to make of this. Then Ms. Keane called the Tokyo City Zoo — so cruel, so very cruel. Minutes after, from the depths of Earth, came the arrival of Ms. Keane’s boyfriend, Ueno-kun — this totally sucks for Mojo. From there the zoo people capture Mojo, but not before Ms. Keane handed him a banana. Mojo broke free right after and wanted to forget the whole experience; and just concentrate on what he’s been doing this whole time: plotting to take over the world… — it’s okay my friend. We’ve all been there before :V
Two things: One, the second half deserves my vote for funniest episode of Season 2. Two, the animation ran fluidly throughout the entire half-hour — no “QUALITY” moments whatsoever.

OP II Single:
Last Wednesday, the band Hoi Festa released their latest single titled, “Jig the Upper” — which just happens to be the second opening theme song to the PPGZ series. Unfortunately, the album version of the single is much different from the “anime” version we’re all familiar with. Check it out yourself:
If you like, you may grab a copy of the new single from the link below, (*special thanks goes to Umi Mizuno)

DVD Volume V:
Just announced this week… The character chosen to have the theme for Volume 5 of the DVD Collector’s Edition: Ms. Bellum. Titles for this set includes the following:
Now let’s do the math. There are 52 total episodes announced for the show. Each collector’s box holds 4 episodes. So that makes 13 box sets altogether. So far the list looks like this:
So now there are only 8 boxes left. Which character will be lucky enough to have their face displayed on one of the remaining 8? … Maybe Peach? Rowdyruff Boys? Kare (Him)? … or, as I stress out everyday thinking will she or won’t she, Shirogane Himeko (Princess)? …

Comparison Videos:
Last week, Toei debuted what is now understood as the final revised opening 2 video sequence. Let’s take a minute and compare the newly edited one with the original that premiered in January:

This shot here here provides an idea of just how many edits were made on the new revised OP sequence — *note: the image is huge.
What some fans may not know is that the third closing sequence was also altered — but not as extensively as the OP:

But now let’s take it back, way back to the first season opener:

I thought Kare was trying to possess the raving GF, and got absorbed by the pasta when she accidently swatted him with it.
When Kare awakens, he recalls his spores; will Ramen go SSJ with the sudden death of his new friend?
Miss Keane really does have friends with the underground poeple!
-Galen
Aw, awesome. Thanks again for the ppgz info! :D
Miss Keane is so awesome… but I was afraid for a moment that she was going to turn into a villain when her boyfriend showed up… she’s kinda cruel ^_^.
Yikes, Ms. Keane, what’s with your tastes?
This episode had lots of talikng — in a foreign language — I’m really going to have to depend on the fansubs for this one. Momoko’s crush last time was a lot easier to follow.
That said, things about this episode that caught my fancy:
It sounded like the cooks from the restaurant were speaking Japanese with Italian accents. How fun!
Those cooks again (are they chefs?) — I don’t see a good example in the captures above, but they are designed as our beloved PPGZ in adult-male-Italian-cook form. If only the guy with the mustache had a blue neckerchief instead of green — then it would be perfectly obvious. Take a look at the first time they confront the Napolitano monster: “leader” in red, with a ponytail, reddish-brown hair, and little semicircular curls of hair in front of his ears. To the right, a guy with lighter hair that is wavy/curly and dangles to the sides. To the left, a guy with black chop hair…. I just put this frame on pause and ROFLMAO. This alone made the ep. one of my favorites.
Kare’s gotta be pissed that his spores make monsters that befriend the PPGZ and demonstrate concern for their welfare.
I liked the little extra penache Bubbles used with her Balloon Catcher — twirling the wand was so stylish! :) Has she done this before?
Question: were the love letters in the box only for Miyako and Kaoru? Karou appeared to be taking it nonchalantly, all those love letters she received… (What, me jealous? XD ) Since she’s hanging around more with girls instead of her brothers these days, is she getting just a little more femme?
Looking ahead, given Momoko’s inability to act as PPGZ due to her crushes, snack distractions, leader-self-esteem selfishness, perhaps PPGZ break up (temporarily of course) when Prof. U. confiscates her transformation belt.
As for Mojo and Ms. Keane, are we supposed to be cheering for Mojo on this one, or is he icky? Sure hoped to see him get a little kiss from my favorite teacher, but that’s probably because I’m lonely otaku who spends too much time watching magical girl anime.
Mojo’s swanky alluring voice was awesome, tho. Hilarious!
Continuing from previous comments, when Kare recalls His spores, He’s going to learn that Momoko is close friends with Bubbles and Buttercup; OTOH, He has no clear reason to suspect that His opponents are Henshin Heroines, and therefore is unlikely to guess that Momoko is Blossom. But, He still has every reason to target Momoko as a potentially useful subordinate. This would be a good set-up to re-introduce Kiriko.
@drake
Why assume that love letters sent to Kaoru are from guys?
I believe all the love letters in the box are actually for Miyako only. (I sent them all by myself… Ok, maybe not.)
Can’t say I liked either part very much. The first part needed some kind of conclusion. Of course, Momoko won’t developed as a leader enough to be accepted as one in only a half episode (or half of an half episode, since we had to hear the life story of a stupid plate of pasta as well…), but the continuation on this should really have been in part b. Instead, we get a filler part where Mojo tries to seduce Ms. Keane. Which was both sort of funny and sort of disturbing. I’m guessing the problems with Momoko’s leadership will be sorted out in the “break-up episode” (Can’t remember the number now.) Before that, however, we’ll all have a sleepover at my wife’s house! Tune in next week!
Oh, and I almost forgot. Why in the name of all that is holy (That is to say: Miyako) did they revert the opening to the first version when they finally had fixed Momoko’s lack of depth? Strange.
Runaway Momoko and Neopolitan!:
I may not have understood what they were saying, but I sm starting to understand some of the ins and outs of this type of show (namely, Momoko and pan; totally saw that coming as soon as Utonium began to speak). Yet again, Momoko’s mind takes the obvious and twists it in her favor, only to realize the cold hard truth. Yet again, another black spore monster, but at least this one had a good relationship with her. I think that Kare creates these random monsters, knowing it’ll attract the girls. This way, he gets to learn them and formulate a plan for his return. Ah, the ramen monster. Totally unexpected, but it totally fits in…somewhat.
Keane’s Sympathy, Mojo’s Affection:
Never knew Mojo was so charming. He would make a great suitor, if only some people didn’t act so stupid. (coughkeanecough) Poor misunderstood monster. He’ll find his place someday.
JIG THE UPPER:
What have they done? This was so good the way it was before. At least it’s still very enjoyable. Given a choice, I would definitely choose the earlier version.
OP II changes:
Ah yes. So…many…changes! Too many to count. At least it looks tons better.
ED III changes:
Wow. Didn’t expect for changes, but they were easy to spot, and enhanced a great ending just a bit.
Soul Calibur III:
What…the…heck? Rather neat. Very imaginative. Not getting the game, anyway. Kudos to the creator of these intense battles.
Episode Preview:
Just these 30 seconds scream “Better episode than the last few!” Of course, three girls + bath = crazy otaku. No offense, just relaying my opinion of what was going on at To the Z.
@Kerg:
They didn’t revert to the older version of the opening. The one who originally uploaded the video had missed the opening upon recording, and stuck in the older version to make up for it. The version with the proper opening is lurking somewhere.
OPPG Season 1 DVD Set:
In case nobody noticed it in the comments for the last episode.
http://tvshowsondvd.com/newsitem.cfm?NewsID=6928
Those Soul Calibur III videos are awesome! I have the game myself and have been constructing custom characters from anime as well… but why wasn’t Mojo’s face green?
Otherwise… Mojo’s really sexy in those outfits! How dare Keane-sensei treat him like that? Like he was… a common monkey! And Momoko’s song sounded cute. :D
@Kerg,
the first part not having a conclusion means the other shoe drops later, I think; the unresolved differences can now come back to bite them at leisure.
-Galen
Those Sould Calibur things were…amazing! Personally, now Soul Calibur Butterpimp will hafta answer to you, pKjd. Nobody around here dares to strike down “waifu”. NEVER!
This episode appears to be full of character development, especially Momoko. Gotta love it!
@Hiro
BTW, Mojo’s face wasn’t green because they couldn’t do it. I did love, however, his fight. This is how the battle scene should be done! Whoot! Soul Calibur scenes FTW!
ACH! Now I can’t view the Butterpimp/Waifu battle! It bugged up!
…anyone got a download for it?
First half: I understand how Momoko feels when no one paid attention to her. Almost no one in my family pays attention to me. I guess that’s why she ran away.
Second half: This one was just plain weird. Miss Keane and Mojo Jojo going on a date!? Man, anything’s possible in cartoons, both original and anime!
I bet the next episode will be pretty scary. But I’m not afraid of ghosts! Bring ‘em on!!!
Keane looked rather cute actually, heh. She needs some love from the fans!
Anyway, PKjd, thanks for setting this up as every week!
@Darkton:
Actually one can alter custom character skin color in Soul Calibur III. We made a perfectly good Piccolo that way. But these films are great anyway - I love the weapon choices, especially Buttercup’s hammer! And they made me want to try and make Kare in my won game.
About Buttercup vs. Princess: Doesn’t the external link to Youtube work?
The editor in SC3 is rather good, but doesn’t allow to modify the size and build of the characters.
It’s the biggest flaw it has, but, whatever, it’s fun.
For a glorious laugh, I recommend playing randomly generated characters. It’s awesome to see what comes next. I should still have some I got against a friend where his SUPERGRANDMA kicked my ass or my extremely flamboyant purple-clad purple-skinned dancer made him fall out of the ring. Ah, the LOLs.
@ pKjd: Oh yeah, I forgot to say thanks for bringing us the coverage for this awesome show! So, thanks!
@Hiro
Then that makes that guy lazy.
And, no, the external link doesn’t work. It goes a few ways, then it “finishes”.
Momoko’s song I love. But watching all those grown men fighting a little girl, my Waifu no less, got my blood boiling. What the heck is wrong with these people?! When that episode is shown here in the states, that scene will cause riots. Or I’ll make sure it does.
Cute ending, though. After spending the episode making Noodler comparisons, there he is.
What’s up with Keane? She acted like she was dating a kindergartener. And I’m guessing her boyfriend that appears at the end was one of the mole people she could supposedly talk to in episode 19 part 2.
Mojo’s not much better with the piano. The last one he played turned into a giant monster, so I guess you can say he improved (that would be episode 19 part 1. What’s up with all the episode 19 references?).
Nice episode, and looking forward to the next one. Bath scene?
@Raichu
But what about Bubbles getting mobbed back in episode 25? While also trying to defend a black spore monster? ‘Course, she was powered up at the time; Momoko could have been hurt.
-Galen
@Raichu
???
Fanservice? In our PPGZ?!
I might as well believe it!
It’s no onsen episode, but a bath scene is fine too! I like how they’ve started adding references to previous episodes in season two. It makes it feel as if the series actually almost have a story. I mean, I like episodic series’, but a hint of consistency is always welcome.
Yeah, Momoko’s song sounded… hyper.(!) Where are all my soundtracks/character song albums!?
@Umandsf: Yeah, ok. That makes sense. :)
Just trying to help out. There definitely seems to be a different aura (no relation) around this show that previously. I guess that also factors into why we still watch it.
@Hetdegon:
It would’ve also been better if the clothes conformed to the body size. The PPGZ jackets ended up making the girls look fat. Also, I think Namco should’ve had more voice types available, because their woman voice made Buttercup sound pretty old. Oh well, I hope Soul Calibur 4 fixes this (or at least the rumored 360 port of SCIII).
@Hiro:
He probably tried so hard to make Mojo look like Mojo that he neglected the green skin (choosing the costumes must’ve been pretty hard).
Maybe I’m just being paranoid, but I noticed sonething during their transformation sequences. Notice how each of them place the compact in their belts. Momoko does it like a normal, ordinary superheroine. Miyako places it with a bit of a wrist flick (she’s holding it from the side), so it is inserted with a bit of grace and care. Kaoru goes for the direct approach, “stuffing” the compact into the balt with force. Minor, yes, but I need to let anything bugging me about the show out, or I’ll go crazy.
OST…OST…OST…
@ Umandsf: I think you are paranoid. And would you really go crazy?
@Umansdf
We’re here for you… it’ll be all right… just let go and accept your inner fanboy. Also, LOL over “normal, ordinary superheroine.” Need to go review transformations now. I second the motion for an OST; may the producers do it justice.
The second part was funny as hell. The scene where the city zoo van casually came and collected Mojo had me at stitches. Mojo made several pricless faces throught the episode, those alone amused me a lot. Good animation makes everything better, see Toei?
The beginning of the first part was the Valentines’ toll, I assume? I think they were devouring the sweets Kaoru was given by fangirls and stuffing the letters Miyako got from fanboys.
@Umandsf
simply get a glimpse the way they walk, fly, land, etc. Momoko’s moves are a common girl’s, Miyako’s graceful/high-class and Kaoru’s manly.

@Boinkity and drakensykh
Thanks. I’m new at this anime stuff, so I had no idea just how great it can be. This is the first show I ever had the impulse to buy DVDs for, even though I don’t fully understand it. I’m sure I’ll get used to it.
@volfera
That’s obvious, but I just though that particular moment stood out more because it doesn’t really stand out.
@pKjd
Kewl. I could have not seen the third one and have it surprise me when it arrived. Oh, well.
I third the OST notion.
BTW, I think I have a “Daataa” (or whatever the hell it’s called) in Kuri-Chan.
Yeah, Drago, I’m a tad more profane here. Don’t worry, it’s tame.
@Galen
After watching the episode again, I think you’re right about Kare attempting to posess the GF at the restaurant. She’s a good target for him, all full of negative feelings — and as the spores move in SHE DUCKS coincidentally and they hit the spaghetti! Have to wait for the fansubs now to get the translations on Kare’s mutterings during the scene — and isn’t it just his luck? Things don’t seem to go right for Kare most of the time, poor guy. :)
Next Ep.: Grandma’s streak of blonde and note the buns of hair in the back; anyone want to bet that her grandmother (Miyako’s great-great-grandmother) was Omiya?
Remind me where we got the names for the Chakichaki Musume again. I don’t remember seeing that anywhere.
@Drake,
Baa-chan could be Omiya herself, and pushing 150 years old — we don’t know her biological relationship to Miyako, only their social one.
(In the original PreCure, Nagisa is chosen to become Cure Black, but Honoka inherits Cure White from her grandmother.)
-Galen
Wow the next episode would be cool and I didnt know Kaoru was afraid of ghosts.
Cover art for DVD Volumes 7 & 8 (Regular Edition):

キタ━━━━━━(゚∀゚)━━━━━━ !!!!! (twice!… buckets!)
If someone manages to find better quality scans of the above, please let me know. I’d GREATLY appreciate it…
Not surprised. If you look at how the episodes are grouped together (it’s easier to imagine it with the Collector’s Edition DVDs) Volumes 5/6, 7/8, and 9/10 (CE 3, 4, and 5 respectively), the last episode of each group can be considered major episodes (12, 16, and 20). It makes me want to get the DVD even more. On a similar note, I like how Mojo was drawn for CE DVD 4. Definitely makes him seem evil (too bad it’s more evil than he really is). I bet you’re really gleeful, pKjd.
BOTH covers feature Princess-sama? She must’ve paid someone off.
Still, to have both covers with the same image is a little redundant. Maybe if they instead gave Himeko one cover and Princess the other? Oh well, what’s done is done! Now I’m interested in seeing the RRB and Kare with their own DVD covers.
Regular Edition Covers.
If you look at the set, 1 and 2 match, 3 and 4 match, 5 and 6 match, and now 7 and 8 match. So I don’t think Princess arranged it. Although Princess on one and Himeko on the other in the same pose would have been cool.
-Galen
@Umandsf
In pKjd’s commentary on Ep. 30 he gives the names of the Chakichaki Musume. I can only assume that he was able to pick it out of the dialogue as he’s at least 1000 times better at understanding nihon-go as me. I can pick out ‘watashi’ and ‘hakase’ now, so I’m getting better.
@Sapphire
Same episode (30) we see frightened Buttercup facing the Kare-created shepherd ghost monster. One that might just be in Kaoru’s imagination in Ep 34 would be even more frightening.
Speaking of Ep. 34, shouldn’t it be available somewhere by now? I’ll have to go watch the stationery monsters again…
@ Darkton: Pfft. The hell if I care about your choice of words. Say whatever the hell you want, it makes no damn difference to me :P . I’m 16, after all, not exactly a little kid.
Wow, it took me a while to get around to posting here. I just haven’t had much to say. These look like good episodes. XD^10000000000 at Momoko’s otakuness (hooray for new words!). She is such a Sentai freak. Red always the leader. Someone remind her that in Kamen Rider (which she clearly also likes, as she wore a helmet greatly resembling V3 in 25), we’ve had a rainbow of colors there. Although come to think of it, most of the third gen title characters have been red…Kuuga, Ryuki, Faiz, Hibiki, Kabuto, and Den-O. (speaking of otaku XD)
Second half: Mojo and Keane FTW! That looks so hillarious! Mojo even changed his voice. And ZOMG! Fanservice in both parts!

Drago wants to see more Kaoru fanart!
@drakensykh
I watched the part of the episode with those girls. I know enough about the Japanese language to be able to distinguish their names, but they were never mentioned. Not once. My guess is that he got it from some other official source, or it was something someone made up that isn’t true. The mystery still waits for a solution…
Umandsf: The source for the Chakichaki Musume names were found on 2ch; as well as from here.
Anyway, this week’s raw is now up: Episode 34 (*credit goes to Taichi)
Episode 34.
Major style points for the Pajama Henshin.
And for using a monster from the Edo Era instead of creating one.
-Galen
@pKjd,
Okay, why does the Japanese Wikipedia claim that Himeko is a ten year old? Is she 3 years ahead in school? Miyako and Momoko are given at 13, and Kaoru at 14.
-Galen
@Drago
I find that second image a little difficult to watch. What do you bet someone knew I would?
Japanese Wikipedia also identifies the RRBZ as each being 4 years younger than their corresponding PPG.
Back to Princess. Japanese Wiki agrees with my conjecture that Monster Princess is drawing on the Shirogane family’s industrial resources for her mecha. It must follow that the Shirogane family servants know that Monster Princess is Himeko Shirogane - they wouldn’t obey her otherwise. Himeko/Princess carries a cell phone and has shown no aversion to constant monitoring; therefore, the phone’s GPS system is most likely remotely tracked so that her servants always know where she is.
In episode 6, when Miyako, Kaoru, and Momoko brought Himeko back home, they were presumably being tracked the whole time and under observation by the household security team - which did nothing because a confrontation could only have made the situation more dangerous for Himeko. By episode 16, when the girls “sneak” in, the security team ignores them because they are known friendlies of Himeko. (Notably, the security team knows that Himeko is transforming, and thus has a reasonable suspicion that the PPGZ are henshin heroines as well.)
Who else knows? I’d bet Sapphire does. And if Sapphire can control Peachy, she may be able to dominate other mecha as well.
-Galen
BTW, episode 34 as linked is a 312 MB, WMV3, VBR MP3 avi. You will need a Windows Media file compatible player to play it.
-Galen
@ Raichu: I knew somebody would, but I don’t hold anything against Momoko fans. I just love me some tomboys.
I think this weeks episode is, hands down, the best episode in season two, if not out of the whole series.
The reasons? Hard to count. So many fanservice moments that are approval-worthy, less henshin transformation (they do get old), in fact, the only such sequence is a faster transformation from pajamas. Terrifically winsome. And speaking of such, Miyako scores in character development in this episode. Who knew she lived in a bath house?
Awesome episode. Don’t ask questions, just download episode 34 now.
Also, I’m noticing that the octopus doll Miyako is always seen with is getting more attention. I’m tempted to head to Jo-Anne’s to pick up everything I need to make my own.
Little update: TVN has released episode 27. Season 2 begins anew!
Okay, I really need to watch 34 raw. And 33, and 32, and 28, and 29. Maybe I saw 28 already, I don’t remember.
That ‘Muscle Beat’ track from the single sounds like gay porn in the first half
Okay, after seeing the pajama henshins, I feel it is clear that Aniplex uses basic animation models for the sequences that allow them to draw different outfits over the charactes instead of having to reanimate the whole thing.
Would it really be so painful to draw a single fresh scene when your animation team is doing just that for the rest of the episode?
It would if you had to get them in the exact same pose, get their clothes to do the exact same thing, and have them go through the exact same motions. Obviously they just change the part where they’re in their civilian clothes and splice in the older fotage. Have you not figured out by now that whatever they can do to spare themselves animating just a little bit they will do?
@ Drago11: I don’t think I ever saw the pajama transformations. And if I did, I don’t remember them. Could you tell me where I could find them?
Episode 34. Starts at 1:04 in this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8G7LTAzNPcc
pkjd when are you putting up the ep.34 blog!!???? And miss.keane is so funni!!!!
x.x Kauro x___x
….Cupidkirby has it on youtube/// i depend on you pkjd cuz i cant understand jap O.O …. Why are the ep all about Momoko!!!!!!None about Kauro =’( KAURO IS THE BEST IN THE SHOW~~~~~!!!!!!
X.X KAURO X__X
He’ll have it up when it’s done. Don’t rush him, he has a life, just like the rest of us.
And I think you mean Kaoru.
@Drago
I know what you mean, but I mean that it would be nice to see a unique transformation sequence in every episode. Henshin sequences are stale and redundant to begin with. As it is, each henshin sequence takes 30 seconds out on an episode, with the group transformation mercifully combining the three to take only 40 seconds from our lives.
Henshin sequences are unneccessary, why not do something with them? As they are, they’re an excuse for show makers to make less show.
Oh, I misinterpreted what you were saying. My bad! Yeah, I would love to see original henshin sequences, or at least creative quick ones (like some of the various non-sequenced henshins seen in GoGo Sentai Boukenger when they would spin the wheel off whatever was around. You probably have no idea what I’m talking about). But the thing about them is that they’re convenient. Make ‘em once or twice, you’re set for the whole series. That allows the money to go into other aspects of the show (theoretically).
@Kauro
…WTH? Are you a troller around here? I think you’re worse than Ahiru, and he/she/whatever the hell it is had some posts of peace.
I just saw the pajama transformations, and they were cool! Thanks for telling me where I could find them, Drago!
I hope pKjd gets the next episode up soon. I want to see the whole thing!
@Boinkity
pKjd posted a link to the Ep. 34 raw above, here it is again.
The link was broken when I went to it so I found a torrent for Ep. 34 here at Tokyo Toshokan. Use “powerpuff” as your search term.
Here’s a direct link to the Freelance-Raws torrent.
