I have watched both Japanese and Chinese version of this episode today.

Let's talk about episode 46 part 1:

Kare has returned to Tokyo City. He feels modern Tokyo City is warmer than Edo before because of the progressing of the greenhouse effect. He starts to remember what were they called again? They’re like Ooedo Chakichaki Girls. He first guesses it is Pakupaku Girl X. It is wrong. He guesses the second time; this time is Pakapaka Girls Y. Wrong again. He guesses Powerpuff Girls Z. This time is correct. He got to deal with those girls. He finds a building named Happongi Hills to treat as a home for him. He flies towards the building like a tornado and use his eye sight to make the president and his assistance to lend the room for him to live. Kare discover a delicious looking steak on the table but he realize he something he has to do first. He uses his black particles to go to eliminate Powerpuff Girls Z. Flash to the girls, Momoko screams because she forgets her lunchbox, pencil, eraser or her textbook and tells Miyako and Kaoru to go on ahead to the lab. As she cross the road to the other side, Kare’s black particles turns all the traffic lights as well as the pedestrian light to blue. This resulted in a traffic accident. Luckily, Momoko has already crossed the road. In fact, she wants to ask to date with a boy by introducing her name and her school she is studying. The boy than tells her she has a girlfriend. Kaoru calls the police to the accident site. Kaoru thinks it will be congested in that corner so she will go around. The black particles follow Kaoru and make her to the danger by lifting the warning sign of the sewage work sites and cover the manhole but saved by a worker. How about Miyako, she walks past a construction site, where the black particles infected a crane in the work site. The particles make the crane to turn to the right in order to hurt Miyako. She sees a kitten and runs towards it. The rope of the crane snaps and a construction bar falls towards the ground. Luckily Miyako is just one second away from being injured. It’s a repeat of the OPPG episode named ‘Los Dos Mojos’ when Mojo Jojo use his robot to snap a construction bar to hurt the girls. Bubbles didn’t avoid it and she got knocked by it. In the PPGZ episode, Miyako is just being saved by a kitten. Kare thinks the girls are impervious to bad luck. He decides to make the black particles to go once more. This time is directly damage their weak points by infecting the boy Momoko has introduced to, Miyako’s doll Octi and Tokio Matsubara’s / Kaoru’s dad’s mask respectively. The girls say goodbye to each other and they go home. Suddenly, the boy falls in love with Momoko and wants her to go have tea. Next, the lab receives warning from Miyako and Kaoru. Miyako tells the Utonium family her dresses are all badly damaged and Kaoru tells the Utonium family that her dad told her to be more girly by forces her to wear skirt. What’s more, if Kaoru says “ore”, her allowance will go down by 100 yen. Peach detects the black aura are coming out of the mask and Octi. The Utonium family goes prepare the Chemical Z beam. Professor knows something like this would happen, so he prepared the portable Chemical Z beam and hurry to take action. Kaoru takes the mask while his father is bathing. Miyako takes her Octi to arrive outside Kaoru’s home. Professor use the portable Chemical Z beam to return the two items back to normal. It obvious that Kare’s black particles are behind it. Miyako thinks Momoko must be a victim of the black particles. So Miyako, Kaoru and the Utonium family are hurried to Kintokidou. The Professor tells Ken, Peach, Miyako and Kaoru to take action by subdue the boy. The Professor uses the portable Chemical Z beam to return the boy back to normal. The boy doesn’t like the girls with anko jams around their mouths. Momoko cries as the boy leaves. Kaoru tells Momoko Kare was behind it all. Ken is thinking Kare is appearing so frequently. Professor thinks Kare is nearby.

Now let’s turn to part 2 of episode 46:

Kare enters the lab by making himself like a drill. He sees the lab is a mess and no defences at all. He decides to steal the Chemical Z by using his black particles to unlock the safe. After that he destroys one of the machines in the lab which results in an explosion that make Professor to topples down the chair and makes Ken awake. Professor use the portable Chemical Z beam to shoot Kare but it’s out of Chemical Z. Kare leaves with a can of Chemical Z so he can rampage like he did in the Edo Era. Kare makes himself like a top in Beyblade series to get rid of Ken, Peach and the Professor. The Professor won’t allow that and he tells Peach to call the girls to take action. The girls transform to PPGZ and take action. Bubbles asks a dog to tell the black tornado that left the lab went. Then she asks a cat and the other dog. At last, a dog directs the girls to Happongi Hills where the tornado disappears. The girls arrive at the site and notice raining something. So they fly to check what happened. It is Kare, he tells the girls finally find him but it’s too late. Kare has poured all the Chemical Z in the can. The girls try to kick his butt. But Kare use his black particles to infect a spider which sit at the bottom of the building. The spider comes to live and jumps to the building. Then it spits web to catch Bubbles and Buttercup but they save by Blossom’s yo-yo attack. Then the girls defeat the spider easily. The spider hits the building and disintegrates. The girls now turn their attention to Kare but they lose sight of him. Kare flies towards the girls and takes their weapons. Kare tells the girls they aren’t using them right. Kare uses Bubbles’ wand to create some electrical balls. Then he uses Buttercup’s hammer to hit one of the balls. The ball flies directly to the girls. The girls get hit, making Bubbles unconscious. Kare then emits the electrical balls again. This time he uses Blossom’s yo-yo to absorb the energy of one of the balls. The yo-yo becomes enlarged and flies towards the girls. Blossom just saves Bubbles and Buttercup on time yet still the girls get hit. Kare added that not even the wand can create an energy ball. The yo-yo can create them too. Kare uses the yo-yo to create an energy ball and use the wand to hit towards the girls. As a result, the girls fly about 200 feet and fall towards the roof of the building. Bubbles and Buttercup start to regain consciousness, as the same time Kare is about to finish the girls off. Blossom uses her ribbon as a boomerang to fly towards Kare in order to get the weapons back. It succeeds and Kare flies about 300 feet to another building. Blossom tells Bubbles and Buttercup to use energy ball to attack Kare. First, Bubbles uses her wand to create dozens of energy ball and passes them to Buttercup. After that, Buttercup uses her hammer to pass to Blossom. The energy balls are absorbed by Blossom’s yo-yo. She feels the power from the energy balls. Then Kare makes himself like a horizontal tornado and flies towards Blossom. Blossom uses ‘Wedding Cake Finish’ to throw her yo-yo which is enlarged towards Kare. The yo-yo closes when Kare is approaching it results with a huge explosion. Blossom thanks Kare to make them developed a new killer attack. Kare says he won’t be beaten by that. As he turns himself into a tornado, the Utonium family arrives to the Happongi Hills along with the portable Chemical Z beam. Professor holds it in order to shoot Kare. Kare still doesn’t get it why the Chemical Z still exists. Professor says predicting this would happen; he splits the Chemical Z up and stored them separately. Kare decides to leave it and he added he will send the girls and the Utonium family to Hell. Kare flies back towards the building after talking to Professor. Ken says Kare is able to whip out an insult. Professor says his unknown power is terrifying. At the end, Blossom forgets about her homework and Buttercup has to return her dad’s mask so they leave in a hurry. Bubbles and the Utonium family giggles and she tells Blossom and Buttercup don’t know when to be afraid.

Let’s turn the attention from the episode to the comment:

Episode 46 is so good. As you know Kare is the best villain ever, he can control not even Octi; he can also control the traffic lights, pedestrian lights and Tokio Matsubara’s mask. If I was the one working in the lab, I would dress like a NTSB/AAIB/ASC investigator to come to Miyako’s home to investigate and examine the damage of her dresses. It is because one of the dresses she has worn in episode 22 to 39 (Refer to http://www.moetron.com/screencaps/powerpuff/cap…) has salad dressing on it. Poor Miyako, but don’t worry. I think your dresses are repairable. You can wash the dresses but it is time consuming. The scene of Bubbles communicating with the animals helps the girls to find Kare. I think Kare can unlock many weapons to make him stronger only. The scene of the girls using energy balls to attack Kare is so awesome. So I think this episode along with episode 51 is the best action scenes just I have posted in Demashitaa! Powerpuff Girls Z – Final Words. As I have mention in that part before, this is one of the best episodes ever because of the energy ball attack. The girls can use this new killer attack in episode 51 when they feel with anger.

For the above reasons, I will rate episode 46 10/10 stars.

Let's talk about episode 45 part 1:

I think the girls don’t notice the chemicals they put while doing the experiment. The result ends up with an explosion. That makes them like three pieces of charcoal. The scene of the girls use their right foot to hit the Frog Prince makes the frog to hit the wall is so funny. I keep laughing with it. The Frog prince acts good when he performs a musical, the professor joins him is so funny. He acts well when he performs the Frog prince has done. Blossom is weak in acting like a little girl want to. She uses a bottle of eyedrops to make fake tears so the professor will allow her to kiss the frog. It’s like Kaoru had done it in episode 4 before (Refer to http://www.moetron.com/screencaps/powerpuff/cap… and http://www.moetron.com/screencaps/powerpuff/cap…). At episode 45, Blossom’s behaviour is discovered by professor. How come she is not caring about her deportment? I think I need to wear mask before I talk to Momoko.

Next, I talk about part 2 of episode 45:

I think Sakurako wants to attract Souichirou’s attention by transform into Sedusa. Do you remember in episode 8 and 28, Sedusa can transform into different people’s body like Bubbles, Buttercup and Princess etc. Souichirou has witnessed the scene. When I watched both Japanese and Chinese version, I noticed something, the scenes of Souichirou holds Sedusa’s hand and fall towards the ground in slow motion is cut by TVB when I watched the Chinese version. Then I noticed Bubbles says Bubble Poyon when she releases a bubble when I watched the Chinese version. In Japanese version, Bubbles says Balloon Catcher when she releases a bubble. What the heck of the stupid TVB doing? At the end, I see the girls stopped Sakurako for using her lipstick to transform is just like tie up a hijacker on the plane because they don’t want to see Sedusa again.

To summarize episode 45, I think this part 1 is so funny but disgusting because the Frog prince is so funny in acting like a musician. On the other hand, Blossom kisses a frog resulted in swap of millions of microbes. The Momoko’s fans will not give any stars or points in this part. Part 2 is definitely better, because Souichirou can finally see Sakurako in his college. The scene of both of them reunited is so romantic. The scene of the girls stopped Sakurako for using her lipstick is suitable for the end of part 2 because Sedusa is a monster. Looks like the girls don’t want Sedusa to cause trouble again. For the above reasons, I will rate episode 45 8/10 stars.
