Posted today on Utada Hikaru’s official website is news of her new upcoming single, 「Beautiful World / Kiss & Cry」. The track “Beautiful World” has been selected as the main theme song for the first film in the “Rebuild of Evangelion” — an alternate retelling of the original Eva TV series; which is set for release in theatres September 1st…

I dig it! Utada Hikaru can sing her ass off. And it helps that she’s completely bi-lingual. Sad her U.S debut didn’t take off like it should have , I thought she was on her way to being the next Aaliyah.
I really like this version. I’m hoping the remake will be good. Only a few more months before its out, but sadly it will be longer than that for the states/other places to get subs of it…oh well. Thanks for the preview on Hikki-chan’s version of ‘Fly Me To The Moon’
Is the difference from the original to the mix a lot.
