The latest issue of Dengeki Playstation magazine features never-before released info on the third installment to the Disgaea series…

Makai Senki Disgaea 3, with a 6,800 yen retail price tag for the regular edition — no word yet on the limited copy, will be available for the Playstation 3 this upcoming winter season. The official website is up, however its grand opening is set for September 21st — with a possible trailer perhaps? It’s looking promising so far…I’m too poor to consider a PS3 atm, but I must somehow get my hands on one by the time this is released in my country.
Gah. I’ve been looking forward to new info on this for a while, but soon as I saw that it’s confirmed for PS3, I suddenly lost interest. I was really hoping it’s be for PS2.

The graphichs still don’t look so spanking great that they would require PS3. They do look a lot better from before, but I’m still doubtful wheter it really was impossible to make this game for PS2 or not. Mayby I have to buy PS3 and this game to see for myself was making it for PS3 really necessary.
And I think NI should make their games also for PC. They’re all rather grind-happy and grinding item world for hours would be more fun if you could browse internet and such at the same time.
Is bad Disgaea be made for junk systems.

I never thought I’d want to get a PS3, but disgaea has started dragging me. Sweet game and is that LAharl in the side panels?!
a LOT of new features, the game is more colorful and there’s a slight difference between the disgaea 2 and disgaea 3 sprites, the main characters seems to be better looking than the ones from second part, hope there’ll be more classes to choose from. But there’s one thing that bugs me…WHY IS THE MAIN CHARACTERS WEARING GLASSES?! He should be a badass, not a nerd xD
