“Kaze no Shoujo Emily” – Episode 23 「はなれてゆく心」

Well I finally managed to catch up on what should be considered one of the best ‘shoujo’ series of the year. The latest episode to air was a bit hard to watch, seeing as how Emily had to say goodbye to her very close friend Teddy as she learned he had to leave for Paris — just when things were about to get really sweet between the two. The train scene, mixed in with the show’s impressive soundtrack, managed to capture the love loss quite dramatically I have to say. It was so sad to witness the whole scene take place — unfortunately she didn’t quite make it in time to see Teddy off in the end. Now with this feeling of insecurity and possible loss of self-confidence, it’ll be interesting to see how Emily and the show will progress in these final few episodes…
