For the school’s opening ceremony, Patty tries hard to convince her classmates to participate in a cheerleading dance. Later at home, Yutaka delivers the news to Konata, however, she questions whether she can join because of her health — but Yutaka assures that she is feeling a lot better. All of sudden a phone call comes in from Patty. Konata answers, and is then bribed with a ticket for a Haruhi event. From that moment Konata approves Yutaka’s participation, as well as convinces her good friends to join in as well. The girls then begin rehearsal.

After having practiced the entire choreography, it was time to for the real show. The girls appeared nervous at first as they stood behind the curtains. However, as Minoru was about to introduce the group on stage, he receives an incoming call on his cell — what you hear is him singing “Miracle Beam” as his ringtone. The girls, as well as the entire auditorium burst into a laughing riot. Though because of this, they feel much relaxed to perform in front of everyone. The curtain raises, the screen fades to white, and the show ends — with the classic, “Ai wa Boomerang” (Urusei Yatsura)…
