Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Kai - Episode 12 Cancelled

According to Moonphase Diary, Tokai TV has decided not to air this week’s episode of “Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Kai.” In its replacement will be “Goku Uma★KING Gourmet First Star!” — a cooking show. No word yet if other broadcasters will follow suit. This all comes in light to the cancellation of the final “School Days” episode two days ago– which wasn’t shown due to a case involving a young girl who murdered her father with an axe earlier this week.

[Edit] - KBS Television has also decided to preempt the showing of episode 12.

Although it’s not so bad with Higurashi cause we sorta knew what to expect…but schooldays its like THE LAST EPISODE

So, anyone got any ideas when the episodes of Higurashi and School days will be aired? Becuase if they just leave it at that, it’s going to spark alot of riot.

damn kids, making a scene all over the news by killing someone. It’d much simpler for them to just kill themselves and it wouldn’t waste everyone’s time
If someone watched Higurashi and thought that murder was an acceptable way of dealing with their problems, they obviously weren’t paying any attention at all to the plot.

Okay. This is just ridiculous. I’ve been waiting this whole time for the 12th episode of Higurashi No Naku Koro Ni Kai to come out, only to find it CANCELED and replaced with a cooking show!? Come on, now! I get enough of cooking shows on the FOOD NETWORK! D
My main concern is. . . Was Higurashi cancelled completely? or is the series just being postponed? does anyone have a clear understanding of this as of yet? or is it too early? (AND SHE JUST GOT SAVED FROM THE UNCLE)
damn it i want them to air em this is one of the best animes this entire year ive seen. they should not of canceld it cuz ive seen far more violent and bloody anime then this and that air that stuff after scool time i mean come on!!!!!!!!!!
It makes sense to cancel both shows after the murder- if you think about. I’m a bit upset of School Days, but I believe I can live for next Thursday. But, we “may” get lucky and get two episodes of Higurashi at the same week since this messes up the schedule of shows.
OH, So. . . when the term canceled is used, it’s merely in terms of for that weeks scheduling? no the show in it’s entirety?? If thats the case, then hell ya. . . I can wait ONE week. . . even 2. jeez

hopefully they just pushed it back for a period of mourning for the stupidity of a child… and lawsuit prevention
