So this week Kuro’s character was more developed — mostly through her unrequited love for Rin. She had a cute daydreaming sequence about her. However she was crushed when Rin had explained about the love difference between friends. She also wondered if Rin had been a boy instead.

Rin had some funny scenes. When the class had to write down their wishes, she wished to be sensei’s bride. As usual she kept teasing him throughout — especially during the private tutor sessions. And toward the end, as Daisuke carried her home, he was sorta pressured into telling her he liked her :P … Oh and Kyon Reiji was finally heard as the episode came to a close…

After came that controversial closing theme. In case you haven’t heard, the band Little Non’s single “Hanamaru Sensation” sounds almost identical to the Offspring’s “One Fine Day.” Little Non’s blog was even flooded with comments regarding the matter earlier last week.

[UPDATE: 11/02/07] – After much thought, I’ve decided to put reviewing the rest of this series on hold — until the uncut DVD releases start coming out. (I already pre-ordered volume one of the R2 releases.) So maybe then I can begin to properly cover this show…
