If the service for the Japanese will only include sellers that are willing to ship worldwide, that's only a reason more to believe eBay users will be able to bid on Y!AJ items with international availability only as well. I don't think eBay wants to become a bypass service, but strictly a translation and handling proxy service. For all the goodies I've ever taken an interest on Y!AJ I've only met one seller willing to ship items internationally (and even that one wanted to communicate in Japanese only).
