Layout Design – Poll Question

i think that the new site design is awesome..

I like the new one but…

I think the old one was more original in a way.

( I liked the way there was information in both sides of the screens and I have to admit… I don’t like blue ;___;- buuut anyway that’s just me. ( I love white

I liked all the white in the old layout. But I’ve gotten used to this one now. So you can keep it. :)

Bring the old one back!!! it had cute things on both sides.. and now it looks empty…like half of the page is deleted.

For me, any design is good. The earlier one worked, but alas, this one works as well so I can´t say which one I liked more.

It is just something that people have to get used to and that´s it.

Although I do like it, the only problem I initially had was the 2 sidebars on the right. I’m not a fan of those layouts (if 3 columns, I prefer the main content in the middle), but I’ve gotten used to it.

Just let your readers get used to it =P

I prefer the old layout and colors used. Now all the information is on one side and like Tatsumiko has already mentioned, the page looks half empty.

I really like the new one more, the old one got really stretched out at my widescreen TFT (and most people should have WS these days…) and it was much harder to notice the new stuff at the sidebars.
But now it looks perfect!

I am not saying this design is bad, but I prefer one column each side and the main content in the middle.

I liked the design of the old one because I thought it was cooler, having two sidebars on either side – I don’t see that a lot. But, now I’m getting used to this one as well, so I don’t really mind whichever decision you end up making.

I’m down with the new site design except that it hates IE6 (lol work computers are outdated)

Also your banner ends up getting like “cut off” (also I feel sorry for your banner and I feel the urge to draw you a nicer one xD;;)

This one is just fine. I just kinda wish it had the new anime and manga pictures on the side every new season. (You probably have no idea what I mean.)

Yeah, I miss the “アニメ Pick(s)” and “マンガ Praise” sections.

I’ll look into all that for sure.

The pinkness suited the site way better in my opinion :/
I don’t mind this one, I just thought the last one was much more original.

I also loved your manga picks, bring that back, often helped me decide what manga to pick up. :P

I’m rather new to your Blog, so i hope i don’t bother giving my opinion too.

I voted no as well. I think the other layout was far better than this. You use to store a lot of information. Too much, i say. Many banners, video, multiple menu as well.

All of this huge amount of data was better shared on the screen with the older layout. It seems to me everithyng now is thrown random on the right side, leaving the left side empty.

Maybe you tought the bulk of the blog to stand out more like this, but it’s not! The right sid is too crowded, and it almost takes half page, strangling the main section.

I suggest you to hide some menu or banner sections, making them avaible only on click.

Moreover, the old style had neuter colors that looked better.
The top image is old and it doesn’t compare with the new overall graphic quality. That should be replaced or changed way more often

On the other hand the contnet of your blog is incredible top level!

I think he just reverted it temporarily until he comes up with the new design.

I prefer (and other more) prefer a simple design, with simple colors, and bars in both sides for a easy ubication.
Other thing, the new designs are very nice, but with a simple style it’s better.

I like this layout more. It has more of a japanese feel, reading things right to left, which is perfect for this site. It loads and browses a lot faster.
