Utada Hikaru 「Heart Station」 PV

Whoa, I didn’t even know this was out.

Aww, I hoped for more new tracks since I’ve already heard “Kiss & Cry,” “Beautiful World,” “Boku wa Kuma,” and “Flavor of Life.”

I’m seriously having a hard time getting excited about this album… I don’t like the singles much, this video is pretty damn boring with just her sitting there with what little she moves her head in slow motion… The HEART STATION era so far is just eh…

Oh well…

I know there are a lot of diehard fans asking for this, but the pair of headphones she’s wearing are ATH-SQ5 model by Audio-Technica.

Seriously, you guys always expect some dancing booty or something in every PV…I think that if you just look at the lyrics and try to use your brains to understand the meaning in the PV then you’d appreciate it more. Besides that’s what I like about Japanese PVs of Utada Hikaru; they tend to seem simple or different but have some deep meaning with her lyrics. I don’t think this era is the best but definitely not the worst.

And a side note: This album was rated #1 in Japan Album Rankings so people who never heard of Utada should give it a try
