Disgaea 3 - US Release Date

Today NIS America announced the US launch date for Disgaea 3 for the Playstation 3 — August 2008. The latest series installment is said to “make a bold new step towards the next generation console with a whole new cast, story and game system.”

Key Features
Geo Block - A cube-shaped terrain-altering object. Players can use it to access and attack enemies where normally they cannot reach.
Geo Panel - A group of stat-altering elemental properties that are placed upon certain parts of the battlefield. When there are one or more colored panels on the battle grid, it means an element can affect that area. The effect can boost or reduce your unit’s stats.
Item World - A special randomly-generated battle stage within each and every item you find. By defeating these special battle stages, you are able to strengthen your items.

Finally, the PS3 is getting some games actually worth playing.
‘Bout time. Now I need to find a way to borrow my friend’s ps3 for an extended period of time.
Any chance of it coming for PSP any time soon. I’ve just finished playing Disgaea 1, and I LOVED it!
Wow. Busy with the site today, are we? I see a lot of clamoring for this game (article just put up on Kotaku), so I think I’ll go see what it’s all about. Probably should start from the beginning, as I don’t have a PS3.

Only thing that isn´t good is the date, in the later half of august I hopefully will have to move and adjust to going to school again fulltime, which will bring either my gaming or studying time to almost zero…
But oh well, can´t stop it from happening, finally a new Disgaea game so I don´t have to replay the same stage over and over again in Disgaea 2 to level. Damn you Prinny Baal!!
To bad some characters are left out for the cameo apperances if I have understood everything correct :(

Yes, I can’t wait till it comes out I have a ps3, PSP, PS2, gamecube, xbox, xbox360, so if it comes out on any of the systems I am fine with witch it comes out on. Is it only coming out on PS3 because I doubt it will come out on gamecube because gamecube is old but i don’t care if it is old I still love the games on it, it is cool still but nobody likes the gamecube anymore but I do. So, yeah I love disgaea so I can’t wait till it comes out!!

I have the PS3 so like yeah pretty much it doesn’t matter to me that it is coming out on the PS3 so I can play the game when it first comes out!!!
I will go to gamestop or some other game place to get it at like 8:00am so I can get the game right when it comes out!!!
You want to know why I will be in such a hurry? I will tell you why. It is because I heard they are making it a limited edition! So, hurry up and get the game before it is gone.
I know why they made it a limited edition. I think it was because they wanted to make alot of money and the Disgaea 3 game will become “rare.” It will probly be like 50.00 when it comes out you know because it will be new. Also, whats the girls name in Disgaea3 that has red hair, like a beaver tail, black horns, a dress, and looks really young?
