Digital Works’ new developing project entitled, “13-sai no Hello Work DS” (13yr-old’s Hello Work DS), will feature the popular Vocaloid idol sensation, Hatsune Miku…
The game, based off the 2004 children’s novel of the same name by well-respected author Murakami Ryū, basically offers some career guidance counseling for teens — the DS way. Various innovative DS concepts have been been tested out before in the past, from brain-training to cooking, so why not this?
“13yr old’s Hello Work DS” — Hello Work is a famous Japanese job placement agency — allows for the player to take control of a young girl named Katou Miku who travels back in time from the future to help those who’ve lost interest with their current career choice. The gameplay mainly centers around mini-game challenges, such as the role of a soccer player, a TV news reporter, a dog groomer, to even working alongside Cryton’s very own virtual idol Hastune Miku, and gaining some musical experience on the side. The game is due out later this Spring for the Nintendo DS.
