The theatrical version of Gainax’s popular shounen series, Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann, has been scheduled for release in September. The news comes from TAF, as well as from the official movie website.

In addition, Nakagawa Shoko, recently added to Anime Expo’s Guest of Honor list, has been confirmed to perform the movie’s theme song.
