According to ITmedia, five companies are sent to launch ai sp@ce, an online 3D virtual world where users can interact with their favorite bishoujo heroines from such franchises as Clannad, Shuffle!, and D.C. II: Da Capo II…

This summer, players will be able to create their own avatars in this new virtual world. From there they’ll be able to select their character doll of choice where together the two can live on one of the many provided virtual “islands.” Home, furniture add-ons, clothing, even animated motion features such as dancing are also available. The developers claim that each character doll will have its own unique personality, dependent of the user. In addition, the user may chat with other players in the game, as well as speak to their partnered doll.

“Akihabara Island” is the tentatively titled hub that connects all the different islands in the game. There are also plans to integrate Nico Nico Douga within the 3D virtual world. Singer KOTOKO is expected to perform the first theme song.
