Higurashi 3rd Series - OVA Release

The third animated installment in the Higurashi franchise will be released as an OVA series. It is tentatively titled, “Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Rei” — name of the fandisc for the original game released in December of 2006. The info comes from the June issue of Megami Magazine — on sale today.

Wahoooooooo! Finally more Higurashi!
Didn’t see this coming. I thought for sure S3 would be televised. Hopefully DEEN will provide more quality animation now that they aren’t under airtime/etc. constraints.
