   I really don’t want to sound stupid but I’m going ask this anyway: is this song a Hatsune Miku “original” is there actually a song called “anger” out there sung by a real life artist?

   Actually some advice would be helpful. I use Sorenson Squeeze v4.5 to encode Vocaloid videos from NND in stereo (128 Kbps 44.1 KHz) on YT. [Link]. Problem is I’ve only been successful in doing so if I limit the data rate at 180 Kbps, so in the end the video quality suffers. Although it doesn’t look too bad, I still wish to improve that.

   The goal is to even out your video bitrate under 350 kbps (YT’s limit). You can do that by making your video longer with blank video (= almost no information = almost no bitrate => evens out higer bitrate). I create two video clips: The clip I want to show and a blank video clip. Then I combine that using FlvBind (very simple CLI program). How you create your blank clip may be an issue. I use a simple AVS script like:

   blankclip(length=14303, width=480, height=360, fps=29.970, color=$000000).killaudio()

   What’s important to know is that while your clip may be 3 minutes long, you can add so much blank video that it hits YT’s 11-minute limitation. So you have 3 minutes of your video and 8 minutes of blank video. On the length of your original video depends the quality you can squeeze from YT. A 3-minute 2-pass Sorenson/VFR MP3 video (+ blank video up to 11 mins with no audio) will get you approximately 1000 kbps if done right. That’s almost three times the normal YT bitrate.

   Of course, you could start embedding/linking to normally uploaded YT videos with the &fmt=18 tag in the end, in which case it spits out H.264/AAC video with stereo audio (in most cases), but it still doesn’t produce the best result for short clips.

   @Miha: I followed everything you wrote and what do you know, it worked! However it’s a bit tedious having to do all that extra stuff. So I’ve decided to do it only for Nico videos I’d consider “special” xD

    I would like to have the video instead of the mp3… I can use a YouTube grabber but the quality that comes out of it is just pathetic. Does anyone know where i can obtain the uncompressed version?
