Is there a continual plot to QB other than getting more and more naked?

In a nutshell, every four years, the most powerful women of all ages and races the world over gather to fight in a Romanesque coliseum. The single victor (or victoress) is then established as the country’s ruling Queen until the next QB battle.

Aside from a paragraph in each game book, there isn’t much more detail than this; to be expected though as the focus on the gamebooks is interactive and not story driven. Hopefully the anime will help that, and have its fair share of service too.
