According to Moonphase Diary, a second season of ef - a tale of memories, entitled "ef - a tale of melodies," has been greenlit for production. The news was originally revealed at RONDO ROBE 2008. The staff is generally the same as with the previous season -- animation studio SHAFT, director Oonuma Shin, etc. It was also reported that Mizuki and Yuuko will most likely be the main focus.
