Story Update:

  • Team Galactic story has received a step up.
  • Dialga and Palkia appear simultaneously.
  • New Team Galactic member.
  • New international police member — in the pursuit of Team Galactic.

Combat Zone:

  • The Battle Frontier returns once again. It will be located in the Fight Area of Sinnoh. Further mechanics are unknown at this time.

Wi-Fi Features:

  • The new “Wi-Fi Club” area can support up to 20 people at one time.
  • There’s a new Poffin feature involving a Swalot machine, throwing berries into its mouth. Can be done over Wi-Fi.

GTS Update:

  • The new GTS is now a larger “global terminal.”

New Items:

  • With the new Battle Recorder on hand, trainers are now allowed to record battles and share them with friends.

Further Details:

  • Giratina’s Origin Forme can only be used in Torn World — the method for changing its form is unknown. Its ability is Levitate.
  • Shaymin can change to its Sky Forme in Sonou Town (Floaroma Town) with the aid of Glacidia’s Flower — a key item. Its Sky Forme has the ability Serene Grace.
  • According to Mr. Masuda’s blog, Regice, Regirock, and Registeel’s BGM is same as heard on Emerald.

Once again, the new Pokemon Platinum game goes on sale September 13th in Japan — with a price tag of 4800 yen. The official website will update with higher quality images and screenshots in the next few days.
