Today we celebrate the birthday of virtual idol and internet sensation Hatsune Miku. It has been one whole year since the Vocaloid2 Character Vocal Series release from Crypton (16+1)…

I’m sure most of you remember the first time you heard “Ballade” — the first official vocal demo from the company. Hearing it then I knew there was something real special about the musical software. The emotional response was just overwhelming:

Today is a real special day and I would like to celebrate as best as I can. Whether that may be updating my Miku-themed blog or updating my Vocaloid channel on Youtube. All I know is that I really appreciate all the artists, especially on Nico Nico Douga and PIAPRO, for their hard work and dedication. It was actually us the fans who gave her the life and personality that attracted many worldwide.

There isn’t a day that goes by where I’m not listening to a song from one of the Vocaloid idols. Whether it may be in my car, at home, or on my laptop; I’m always enjoying the musical sounds of their voices, especially that of Miku, who still remains to this day my overall favorite of the bunch.

And with that said, here’s to another glorious year of Vocaloid goodness!
