A new TV anime adaptation of the fantasy visual novel series, 「Shinkyoku Soukai Polyphonica」, is reportedly being scheduled for Spring 2009. The announcement comes from a poster (seen below) at a bookstore with the words, “BRAND NEW STAFF, BRAND NEW VISUAL, BRAND NEW STORY,” printed in English. The original 12-episode Polyphonica anime series from Ginga-ya aired in April of last year…

[*UPDATE - 11.11.2008] - New series, entitled 「Shinkyoku Soukai Polyphonica crimson S」 has been confirmed on the official website.

reminds me yet again that i need to finish the first one……
is it just me or are there alot of animes that carry the “from the creators of scrapped princess” on them? (and rarely talking about bones)

That’s good, I always though the art was great, but when I actually saw clips from the anime, I was horrified. I hope the new studio does a better job
A budget of more than 10 $/episode would be appreciated. I tried to like the first series but the craptastic visuals were too much of a turn-off. ^_^”

I definitely agree. However, the music overall was quite good and although the graphics suck really bad, the story was still enjoyable.
