Two new works of different genres to receive anime adaptations…

According to Moonphase Diary, Palette’s PC bishoujo game「Sakura Strasse」will be adapted into an anime series sometime in 2009. In addition a VG consumer version of the original game will also be released. A formal announcement regarding the two new production works may be made public sometime around Spring.

According to Daily Sports Online, the self-help book for workers entitled「Yume wo Kanaeru Zou」(The Dream-Granting Elephant) will be receiving an animated production series. The story revolves around office worker Fumiyama Fumio who receives advice and self-confidence from Indian god Ganesha. SMAP bandmember Kusanagi Tsuyoshi will voice the role of Fumio. The new series is slated to premiere later this month on TBS — part of the Kimiha Break variety news show. Daichi Akitaro will be serving as director.
