Y'see, Arakawa-sen had this amazing genius plot; she didn't want to finish the series off in a big rush to end it before the anime, but still needed the money + popularity boost, so, she gave the storyline to Bones (only deciding to help in vocal casting). The entire Fullmetal Alchemist TV anime was all Misushima Seiji's vision. Now, two (or is it three..?) years later, the manga is coming to a close. She knew her fans'd be disappointed, and wanting more of the series out of her, so she's giving a much bigger helping hand, with FMA 2. Also, this way, she gets double the exposure and another TV broadcast anime (off of only one manga!) and possibly another movie (if the show does well enough)! @Ari-chan: Depends upon how quickly some fan-subbers will be on it. I know it'll be before it's licensed, so just make sure you're not lagging too much. :) :D Excitement.
