Personally, i think that it is great that they have a new gundam series in UC, because I have aways wanted to see a show of UC in HD. I thought it was cool in 00 but UC is going to be epic!

I think they’ve realized the power of tapping into the female market with prettier male characters. Hence their popularity.

I think the anti-bishounen stance is so blatantly unfair sometimes. So creators are not allowed to cater to females with pretty boys while they can and have been doing that with pretty women? Please. Let’s see how the fanboys like it if the women are plain.

Personally I don’t give a crap whether there are bishounen, bishoujo or not so long as there’s a good story, but aesthetically appealing chars are a bonus. Just remember that not every Gundam fan has a dick.

I was introduced to Gundam UC and not through GW because of my bf.

Based on the images shown in this post, it looks promisingly un-bishounen’ish. Dare I say it reminds the old style?

On another note, 08th MS Team was IMO one of the best UC Gundam series. There is hope! =)

I don’t even care anymore, I’m happy as long as it’s not another round of willowy bishounen. Seriously, Gundam seems to have turned into NeoRomance lately.
