According to Moonphase Diary and the obi found on the novel, Kamino Okina’s original light novel, 「Asobi ni Iku yo! / あそびにいくヨ！」, will receive an anime adaptation. The series was first published back in 2003. It has received a manga adaptation, which began running in Monthly Comic Alive magazine since 2006, and has received a Playstation 2 port of the same year. No word yet on when the new animated project will begin.
