Well not as impressive as the other LoZ games I have played & seen over the years but it's interesting at least.

Doesn't look very impressive, but we will see.
Soulja Boy Tellem
This game looks like crap. The Wind Waker style characters make me not take this game seriously. Even though Wind Waker was good this version of Link looks like a little boy.

WOW! I love trains!!!! I can't wait!!!!! AH! *dies*
Well I dont think it will be great. Nothing to cheer for but I am going to give it a chance and I kinda like the train idea. The train will be better than a boat in the middle of the ocean. Although Wind Waker was a good game I have to agree with Soulja Boy Tellem it is hard to take the game to serious. I like both versions of link but toon link isnt drematic. Nintendo went from Twilight princess one of the most drematic video games I have ever played and made a second wind waker. NOW A THIRD!!! Here is how I think they could of done better: For starters there shouldnt of been a third wind waker. Espesialy in toon form. Secondly they should of made a second ocarina of time. And third they needed more drama and better graphics wich is where the wii comes in... again. Its like trying to take Super mario games and turning him into a tall skinny teenager. It just doesnt work that way. When wind waker came out it was a nice change. But the old link realy sold the idea of the triforce of courage. Toon link doesnt look couragous at all. Back to ocarina of time. It was the most loved and bought game out of the Zelda franchise. If nintendo realy wanted to make some money and win the war between systems then they wouldnt be pushing there new dsi and start pushing the we to a whole new level with the ocarina of time sequal new controls and revolutionize the wii remote. They also would of won peoples pick for the wii. A nother thing they could of do is make a new wii remote and have the option of using a gamecube remote. - Nerd Herd
The idea of a train motif in a Zelda game, a series which usually doesn't go beyond employing medieval-esque technology, is a little off. Wait for LOZ: Airplane Adventures for the Wii next fall.
Well I think we'd better wait for the squeal "Link's Steamboat Adventures!"

Wow. I think the Zelda creators are losing their touch...just that....the game looks interesting in all and im still gonna buy it its just that a train?? That's a dramatic change in the series of Zelda. I wish they would make a zelda that has more excitement and that's just i dont know....but they do need to make a sequel to Ocarina of time...well actually they did that was majoras mask...i dont care much of graphics but you know what they should make a legend of zelda that when after majoras mask link comes back to hyrule! kinda like a majoras mask sequel. And link would be grown up again. Though as much as i love toon link its getting old. I agree with Nerd Herd. They should make another legend of zelda on the wii. hey what if after this legend of zelda they will?? hopefully they will.
OMG!! THAT IS SOOO AWESOME!! I never dreamed of Zelda with trains before, but seriously, I love the melding of the "Western" concept to the Fantasy theme. Kind of reminds me of Steampunk-like material; i.e. Airships and magic. Thanks for sharing this gem of a news piece!
p.s. Where did you find that cool promo picture?!

Cool concept!

never liked the cartoony zelda games except 4 swords.
zz
I like that you can control what looks like to be a statues. itll be nice to have the backup and will make combat more interesting. although games like phantom hourglass and this one will not be as good as LOZOOT or LOZMM itll be fun as far as a "travel zelda". Obviously they can't make a twilight for gameboy or ds, it just cant happen the buttons are limited and the graphics just cant happen. and lets face it, no handheld zelda has ever compaired, anyone play oricle of time or seasons. deffinetly not as good but it'll be fun to play, and itll be fun for younger kids too. and thats what theyre trying to do, thats what its all about. just put up with the crappy games for a while, give them the money they expect and theyll probably bring out another AMAZING zelda like they did for wii
