And that mysterious event at the end felt like one of those "big" LE surprises. Gotta love Murata's art and it's wonderful hearing Hitomi Kuroishi's music again after Last Exile, the background music was great throughout episode 1 (especially that stunning action theme, and that kind of ethereal sounding track at the end of the ep). LE had an amazing soundtrack so I can't wait to hear more of the music she's doing for this show.
