I didn’t know K-on was on TBS in Japan. XD I saw episode 3 on TV by coincidence today. Hilarious and my favorite of the first 3 episodes so far. Her studying really pays off in the end, but my favorite part is the pink controller. Don’t know why. It’s not particularly special or anything. I just can’t get over it. I want one…!

I was thinking the opening sounded familiar for some reason… I finally figured out why. The first 20 seconds or so of the opening credits music sounds almost the same as the beginning of the opening credits for Sky Girls.

Speaking of Mio fanboy-ism, there’s a lot of great fanart out there that sprouted seemingly overnight. I’m more keen on hearing the full version of the song though rather than seeing a full MV.

The bargaining part was hilarious. Tsugumi could’ve saved everyone the trouble by just asking her father, but instead she wanted to have a go at ‘bargaining’ (which she actually did a remarkable job at).

This show is giving me Lucky Star vibes…yet somehow I feel that it also exists in a genre of its own. Here’s hoping for better episodes to come.

Ya know… for all of Mio’s fear of being the center of attention, I just noticed, she’s the one standing in front singing in the closing credits. :) Hah!
