According to TV Wakayama’s programming schedule, next week’s episode (#8) of the 2009 Haruhi run is entitled 「Sasa no Ha Rhapsody / Bamboo Leaf Rhapsody」 (May 24th). If proven this would confirm a true chronological re-airing of the series.

[UPDATE 05.17.2009] – TV Wakayama was asked to remove next week’s episode title.

*Gigazine phone interview w/ TV Wakayama:

“We were told not to show the episode title but it accidentally went out. So we are now working to erase them”.

[UPDATE 05.18.2009] – syoboi’s calendar and a digital programming guide have added 「Sasa no Ha Rhapsody / Bamboo Leaf Rhapsody」 to the title of Haruhi episode 8.
