“Shakugan no Shana” — New Anime in the Works

According to the July issue of Dengeki Bunko Magazine, a new animated project is underway for the action fantasy series 「Shakugan no Shana」. No word yet on what specific format (TV/OVA) this will be released as but we’ll keep you posted.

This is a surprise. I thought the last season was totally the end for the animated series.

Hmm. I wonder, if this show gets a 3rd season then would Zero no Tsukima get another?

I read on ANN it's "restarting" which raised an eyebrow to me if it's a third season, or remake. I'll just wait and see.

Currently I'd say theres about 13 episodes of new material in the novels for a third season...with no filler, but of course theres always filler in this series. Emo Shana and bad-ass Yuuji coming up.
