「Heartcatch Precure」 is the seventh installment in the Pretty Cure metaseries — scheduled to begin February 7th, 2010. Once again we’ll be treated to a brand new cast — quite unfortunate for those who wished to see「Fresh Precure」 receive a second season. What’s different this time is it seems the producers are taking the show back to its futari roots and only featuring two main heroines. Tsubomi (Cure Blossom) and Erika (Cure Marine) appear to be younger than the previous cast and display a bit of PPGZ/Doremi-esque in their facial designs.
