Moetron-Sub project release #27 — #26 can be found below — comes to us from one of the greatest Vocaloid producers today, shu-tP. The song, entitled 「Change me」 , originally made its debut on November 5th, 2009 with MEIKO on vocals. It was released in celebration of MEIKO’s 5th year anniversary. The music video was produced by Brother with illustrations from various artists including Cochineal and Agi. Personally loved the song the minute I first heard it, as many others did. At the time our group was searching for another song to subtitle. It was then we noticed we never worked on anything from MEIKO before — how shameful. Very pleased we went with shu-tP in the end. Hope you enjoy it~!

A petition to gather 10,000 signatures to send an illustration of Hatsune Miku onboard the spacecraft Akatsuki — which is bound for planet Venus later this year — took place late December 2009; and succeeded in doing so. A promotional video from Tripshots, which uses the song 「Escape」 by OneRoom (Jimmy Thumb-P), was released on both Nico Nico Douga and Tripshots’ youtube channel in getting the word across. It was our translator damesuke’s idea to have the group work on and do our part in this special event. We received special permission from both artists to sub the video even.
