“Toaru Majutsu no Index” – Season 2 Announced! *UPDATE

According to the July issue of Monthly Shounen GanGan magazine, a second season of 「Toaru Majutsu no Index」 has been formally announced. In addition, a 3D fighting-action PSP game is also in the works — slated for release this Winter. The new season will begin in October of this year.
[UPDATE 06.09.2010] – A 「Toaru Kagaku no Railgun」 OAD will be bundled with the official visual book — on sale July 27th. The episode is titled, 「Toaru Beach no Tokuten Eizo」 (tentative).
