Capcom Unity have just revealed some new challengers for the upcoming 「Marvel vs Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds」 fighting game title from Capcom.

*The New Challengers:

  • Doctor Doom (Marvel Comics)
  • Super-Skrull (Marvel Comics)
  • Thor (Marvel Comics)
  • Trish (Devil May Cry)
  • Chun-li (Street Fighter)
  • Amaterasu (Okami)

Now what’s interesting is so far these new fighters match the leaked MvC3 roster made popular over the net in mid-June. If you’re curious you may find that listing below, as well as a collection of MvC3 screenshots and trailers just released from the ongoing Comic-Con event in San Diego, California.

「Marvel vs Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds」 is slated for release in Spring 2011 for both the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 consoles.

[UPDATE 07.22.10] – Marvel.com has revealed two more playable MvC3 characters. Thor (Marvel Comics) and Amaterasu (Okami). Once again it matches the leaked final roster below.

[UPDATE 07.30.10] – Capcom rep Wes Phillips shot down the leaked roster above by saying on his Twitter quote:

These supposed “final” MvC3 character lists are inaccurate. No one has nailed it thus far. Stay tuned for the realness.
