Hi Meliska_rocky. This is Saito-Kun, I was in charge of typesetting and video production for this project. I was wondering if you have tried downloading the release? This is because although it is encoded in 'x264', the video dimensions are not 1280×720 which would be 720p. If you had already tried playing and have experienced 'choppy' playback, we'll have to see what we can sort out.

Hi, could you try re-downloading the SD file? I have tried downloading it myself and it plays all the way through. Also, make sure that the downloaded file is about 296MB.

Could you tell me what it shows when you open the file? For example, an error message or it just doesn't open at all?

Also, which version did you download? the HD or SD one?

I downloaded both, the HD (torrent) (mkv) one didn't open at all, it opened my itunes and thats it, it didn't add anything to my library.

The SD (downloaded) (avi) opened, but the entire video is a black screen, but the audio is intact.
i downloaded both twice and the results did not change.

Okay, I think I have a solution to your problem.
First, please download the CCCP Codec Pack: http://www.cccp-project.net/

Install everything. Once this is complete, right click the .avi file > properties > go to the section with 'open file with' and click change > then choose a program, preferably Media Classic Player or VLC.

Your issue here seemed like you were missing some codecs, this should fix this issue.

Any more problems, please don't hesitate to ask.

i can't seem to open the CCCP pack, im using a mac, and im running the unarchiver program on it, but it won't open the file. Should i give up and try it on my friends pc? Btw, i really appericiate all your help so far.

It’s soft subbed right? Is it possible for you to upload just the subtitle file? I got a 1080p version of the OVA (.mkv file) and I want to use your subs with it.

Typesetting was hard-subbed. And unfortunately I won’t upload the subtitle file, there isn’t much point in releasing a 1080p version as this has been out for a while.

Apparently, since the Black★Rock Shooter GAME is being released, once that has been completed they’re going to carry on with the OVA stuff. I don’t know what stuff they are carrying on but that’s all I know guys!
