Sorry Eruruu. Although you may have won your fair share of rounds throughout the history of Saimoe, you weren’t about to overcome Poplar’s current popularity. So with her stepping down from the winner’s bracket and Poplar taking over, we wish her all the best.

Over on the H-5 side, we finally say farewell to a Saimoe vet who has taken home some of the best with her during her long run. Rena it was a real pleasure. Even with all that experience, it was not enough to take down the heavy favorite Mugi this year. You will be greatly missed.

Well then, with those matches now over, we should pay attention to today’s round. I’ll be supporting both Azunyan and Shouko. And with the final chapter of the K-ON manga now out, I’m sure the Azunyan campaign will have the edge here.
