According to the latest issue of Comic REX magazine, TYPE-MOON’s Takenashi Eri’s comedic manga series, 「Take Moon」, will be receiving an anime adaptation. Kishi Seiji (Angel Beats!) has been assigned as the director for the new project.

A TYPE-MOON staff member artist Takenashi Eri has created many side stories to most of the group’s projects; ‘Tsukihime’ & ‘Kagetsu Tohya’, ‘MELTY BLOOD’, ‘Fate/stay night’ — you’ll find your favorite characters in various hilarious situations that weren’t covered by any of the original products.
[UPDATE 12.08.10] – According to Moonphase Diary, the 「Take Moon」 anime adaptation will be renamed, 「Carnival Phantasm」. It has also been revealed that the project will take the form of an OVA coming out Summer 2011. It will be directed by Kishi Seiji (Angel Beats!).
