According to the official website, a new Aquarion TV series, entitled 「Aquarion Evol」, has been green-lit for production. The project will be handled by animation studio Satelight; with Kawamori Shoji serving as producer. More details will be announced later.

The first Aquarion TV series debuted on April 4th, 2005. It consisted of 26 episodes. An OVA and film adaptation followed later.
