According to the official website, an anime adaptation of Torako’s (author) and Osaka Nozomi’s (illustrator) romance-comedy light novel series, ｢Chuunibyo demo Koi ga Shitai!｣, has been green-lit for production. It will be produced by Kyoto Animation.

Last year, the light novel received an honorable mention under the Novel category at the first Kyoto Animation Award program.

*Synopsis:

Togashi Yuta used to suffer from what is known as chuunibyou (8th grade disease). However he outgrew this phase in his life when entering highschool. But it was there where he met a strange girl named Takanashi Rikka — who happened to be inflicted with chuunibyou. Yuta is then forced to make a contract with her.
