Author kakifly will conclude the second run of his 「K-ON!」 4-panel manga series in the July issue of Manga Time Kirara magazine — on sale June 9th.

In August 2010, it was announced in Kirara that the original manga series would conclude its run in the following issue. However in a surprise announcement six months later, author kakifly would resume the series in two separate magazines.

  • Manga Time Kirara — resumes the story from when Yui, Mio, Ritsu, and Mugi are all attending college. Original debut: April 9th, 2011.
  • Kirara Carat — carries a version of the story featuring Azusa, Ui, and Jun in highschool. Original debut: April 28th, 2011.

The Azusa, Ui, and Jun manga version will still continue to be serialized in Kirara Carat.

[UPDATE 05.26.2012] – According to the July issue of Kirara Carat, the Azusa, Ui, and Jun manga version of the series will also be coming to an end in June.
